What kind of gear do I need ? 

You will need the same kind of gear for trips of one or more days, hiking clothes, hiking boots an a day pack, this for carry water, power bars and your fleece or rain jacket depending on the weater.

What’s the length of the hiking ? 

The length could it be since 3 hours to 6 hours, no more, only in extraordinary events.

How far you hike ?

The distances could it be from 6 – 8 Kilometers until 16 kilometers per day.

Do I have to carry all my luggage with me ?

During the trip a support vehicle take’s care of transport luggage, gear and in emergency case for evac. You will only need  a day pack for the hiking.

What are we going to see during the hike ?

The ecosystems changes depending if we are at the Sierra Norte,  la Mixteca or the Finca cafetalera.  En la Sierra Norte is a pine and oak forest, at la Mixteca is  a dwarf oak forest in the high parts and cactus and bushes in the low parts, at the Finca is tropical forest.

It is possible to travel all year long ?

It is possible to travel all year long, you will only need the right gear for the place and the season.
